About WakeSharp
WakeSharp is an alarm clock for heavy sleepers that asks for a mission instead of a swipe, and then scores how sharp you actually woke up. This page says who makes it and how its articles are held to account.
Who makes WakeSharp
WakeSharp is made by KineticBit Inc., a small independent studio in Manotick, Ontario, Canada, which publishes both the iPhone and the Android app. The company is the publisher of every article on this site.
Dipojjal Chakrabarti
Dipojjal Chakrabarti is the founder of WakeSharp at KineticBit Inc., and reviews the articles on this site that carry the line “Reviewed by Dipojjal Chakrabarti”.
How the articles are written
- Every claim about sleep cites its source. Articles link to the studies, reviews and official guidance they rely on, so you can read the evidence yourself rather than take our word for it.
- “Reviewed by” means a named person read it. A post shows a reviewer only when that person has read it, and the structured data records the date they did.
- Claims about the app are checked against the app. Anything an article says WakeSharp does has to match what the app itself ships, and the site’s own checks reject the claims the app has retired.
- Corrections are dated. When an article changes in substance, it shows an “Updated” date. If you find a mistake, email support@wakesharp.app and we will fix it.
- It is not medical advice. The articles are general information about sleep and waking up. For a sleep problem that persists, talk to a clinician.
